Come join us for a two-day ride on the dry side of the Cascades (April 20th & 21st 2013)

Join us for a two-day ride in the Wenatchee area this spring. Overnight reservations can be booked at the Best Western in Wenatchee (509-665-8585). 10 rooms are currently on hold for RCC Members at $83 a night. (Code Word to use booking with Mai is Redmond Cycling Club).
Saturday 8am April 20th we'll ride the orginial Apple Cup Course Wenatchee, The course:
across the Confluence and up to Orando for our first stop. Then on to Beebe Bridge State Park for our next rest stop.
across the bridge were we can split the shorter course up the hill to Chelan. The longer course continue up Hiway 97 to the left at Apple Acres and the climb into the Canyon Plateau and back by the Chelan Airport and right up over the hill into Chelan for lunch at The Subway in Chelan. Afterward up to 97 on the west side of
Lake Chelan to the left turn and the Climb of Navarre Coulee (1.1 mile at 10%) over the top and
down to Entiat Rest Stop and pass Rocky Reach Dam and the finish at our hotel in Wenatchee.
107 miles with 3000' of climbing.
Wenatchee has a number of great restaurants along the main drag. Pick what you like?
For Sunday we drive up to Leavenworth High School parking lot. For the 9am start of Sunday's Ride.
The Chumstick Pass Course with lunch at the 50's Diner on Hiway 2. After lunch down Tumwater Canyon and back to Wenatchee.
About 45 miles total for the day.
